Shipping policy
Overview
This Shipping Policy applies to all orders placed within South Africa through My Antidote.
By placing an order on My Antidote, you confirm that you have read, understood, and agreed to the terms outlined below.
Order Processing

Orders are processed on weekdays only.

Processing does not include South African public holidays.

Orders are processed Monday to Friday, excluding public holidays, with the exception of Fridays, on which orders may still be processed.

Daily order processing cut-off time is 11:00 AM.

Orders placed after 11:00 AM may be processed on the next eligible business day.

Processing times may be extended during promotions or periods of high order volume.
Shipping and Delivery Timeframes

Delivery timeframes are estimates only and are provided by third-party courier services.

Estimated delivery dates are not guaranteed.

Delivery times may be affected by factors outside of My Antidote’s control, including courier delays, weather conditions, operational disruptions, or access restrictions.
Shipping Costs

Shipping costs are calculated at checkout based on the delivery address and selected shipping option.

All applicable shipping fees are clearly displayed before payment is completed.
Courier Collection and Tracking

Once an order has been collected by the courier service, the courier company will issue tracking details directly to the customer, where applicable.

Tracking information and delivery updates are subject to the courier’s systems and availability.
Transfer of Responsibility

Responsibility for the parcel transfers to the courier service once the order has been collected from My Antidote.

My Antidote does not accept responsibility for any parcel once it has been handed over to the courier, including but not limited to:

Loss or theft

Damage during transit

Wear and tear

Delays or failed delivery attempts

Any delivery-related claims must be raised directly with the courier service.
Delivery Address Accuracy

Customers are responsible for ensuring that all delivery details provided at checkout are accurate and complete.

My Antidote is not responsible for delays, losses, or non-delivery resulting from incorrect or incomplete address information.
Failed Deliveries and Returns

If a parcel is returned to My Antidote due to failed delivery attempts or incorrect address details, re-delivery may incur additional shipping charges.

Approved refunds, where applicable, will exclude original shipping costs.
CPA Disclaimer

This policy is drafted in accordance with the South African Consumer Protection Act (CPA).

Nothing in this policy is intended to limit any non-excludable consumer rights provided under the CPA.

Where permitted by law, My Antidote limits its liability to the maximum extent allowed once goods have been handed over to an independent third-party courier.

Proof of dispatch constitutes fulfilment of My Antidote’s delivery obligation under this policy.
